An old friend got in touch with me the other day and we got to talking about "the old days"his name is Chris Lonergan A.K.A. Noodles. Its the wee scrawny kid standing on the lip of "JAWS" at the origional Kelvingrove skatepark. In the foreground busting a backsde air is Stan Stanners. Anyway we laughed and shot the bull for a while goin over stuff i had'nt thought about for ages. After the conversation i was in a great mood for some reason. I count myself lucky that skateboarding found me, and if your in the fortunate position to be a skateboarder too then good on ya! |
| This is Chris about thirty years later and as you can see he's still rippin! Looks like some cool wee skatepark in his adopted country of Sweden. He was stoked cos he'd just returned from a trip to Cali where he had managed to catch up with lots of the Old school. Including Stan who has lived and worked there for the last 25 years or so. Stan (by the way) was an uber ripper and origional Livi local who sought pastures new and found them. |  |

The final shot is of Noodles skatin the Malmo park when he recently competed in the Masters of the Quicksilver. Chris was one of the origional Clan team back in the Eighties before going onto Bash skateboards and getting the first Scottish pro board onto the market.
